Find your ring size with confidence.
A jeweler’s ring sizer is the most reliable starting point, especially for an expensive, wide or non-resizable ring. Measure the intended finger at normal room temperature; fingers can change size during the day. Check that the ring can pass comfortably over the knuckle without feeling loose at the base.
- Use a ring that fits the same finger. Measure its internal diameter across the center, excluding the metal; compare with the size chart for the product you are buying.
- If using a strip of paper as a first estimate, mark the overlap without stretching or tightening it. Measure the marked length in millimeters. Repeat at different times and do not treat a single paper measurement as a guaranteed fit.
- A wider band often feels tighter than a narrow band of the same size. Ask about the fit of the specific design and whether resizing is possible before ordering.
- Sizing systems differ between regions. Confirm the system used by the product; do not transfer a number from a different country without conversion.
| Inner diameter, approximately | Inner circumference, approximately | US size, approximate |
|---|---|---|
| 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm | 5 |
| 16.5 mm | 51.8 mm | 6 |
| 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm | 7 |
| 18.1 mm | 56.9 mm | 8 |
| 19.0 mm | 59.7 mm | 9 |
| 19.8 mm | 62.2 mm | 10 |
This table is a reference for an initial estimate. Manufacturing tolerances, band width and comfort-fit profiles vary. The product-specific size chart and a professional fitting take priority.
